Matt Hancock and Seann Walsh are finally heading into the jungle for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! today, according to reports.

The former Health minister and Strictly’s notorious snogger will be meeting this year’s line-up as late arrivals following the shock exit of Love Island’s Olivia Attwood.

Subsequently, Hancock and Walsh will likely appear on Wednesday’s episode and teased at the end of tonight’s instalment.

‘Matt and Seann will be arriving together into the camp which is away from the other celebrities,’ an insider told The Sun.

‘Producers have been planning the perfect way to introduce the pair into the show and it will be TV gold when the campmates see Hancock.’

Hancock’s addition to the I’m A Celebrity line-up has not gown down well with the Conservative Party, with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak confirming he was ‘very disappointed’ in the MP.

He’s subsequently been stripped of his whip and faces huge backlash from his constituents.

However, Hancock defended his stint on the show which comes during a cost-of-living crisis and just weeks after the House of Commons recess had ended.

‘I haven’t lost my marbles or had one too many pina coladas,’ he told The Sun. ‘It’s something I’ve given a lot of thought to.

‘I was elected by the people, and it’s important to engage with voters, especially younger voters, no matter where they are, and show the human side of politicians.’

Metro.co.uk has contacted a spokesperson from I’m A Celebrity for comment on this story.

I’m A Celebrity continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
