Emily Ratajkowski is trying to balance her son Sylvester’s interest in trucks by buying him a tea set and baby dolls.

The model and mother-of-one welcomed Sylvester Apollo in March 2021 with her now-estranged husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard.

The pair sparked breakup rumours earlier this year when she was seen without her wedding ring in a TikTok video.

Ratajkowski went on to officially filed to divorce her husband in September, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.

While speaking to Julia Fox about single parenting in Tuesday’s High Low podcast episode, the model said the one-year-old is ‘crazy’ about trucks.

‘Sly literally gets so excited. [He] loves to play with things with wheels,’ she said. ‘But is this just what he likes naturally?’

The 31-year-old, who rose to prominence after starring in Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines music video, said the tot also owns a pink convertible and a stroller with baby dolls.

‘It’s hard as a single mum, raising a son, you just don’t want them to end up like every single guy you’ve ever met, you know?’ the Gone Girl actress said.

‘How do I stop this conditioning from occurring?’

The star revealed she was pregnant in October 2020 with an essay published in Vogue.

In it, she discussed how she would raise her child to challenge gender stereotypes, admitting she won’t know her child’s gender identity until they turn 18 and can express it themselves.

‘I like the idea of forcing as few gender stereotypes on my child as possible,’ she wrote.

‘But no matter how progressive I may hope to be, I understand the desire to know the gender of our fetus; it feels like the first real opportunity to glimpse who they might be.

‘As my body changes in bizarre and unfamiliar ways, it’s comforting to obtain any information that might make what’s coming feel more real.’
