All eyes will be on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2022 tonight as Matt Hancock and Seann Walsh make their highly-anticipated debuts on the show.

Ahead of their entrances into the jungle, the pair spoke about what they expect to take away from their experiences from camp.

However, an extended teaser featuring the former health secretary and released on TikTok by his own verified account has left I’m A Celebrity viewers feeling unnerved… due to his unforgettable laugh.

In the clip, the politician says: ‘I don’t think I’ve got any fears or phobias, but I’m about to find out.’

The MP then breaks out into excessively loud laughter, leaning back in his chair while turning his head to the side, guffawing over his own statement while crossing his arms.

‘His laugh is even Tory,’ one TikTok user commented, ironic considering Mr Hancock was suspended from the Conservative Party for taking part in the ITV programme.

‘I’m getting Alan Partridge vibes,’ someone else wrote, while another remarked: ‘I’m crying. Why does he laugh like that?’

One unsettled person commented: ‘I’m now convinced I’m living in a simulation after this,’ while others compared the clip to episodes of the dystopian sci-fi series Black Mirror.

‘I’m actually dying at his laugh,’ someone else simply put.

In the teaser, Mr Hancock acknowledged that there may be people who criticise a sitting MP entering the jungle.

However, in his opinion, ‘showing that we politicians are normal human beings is actually really important’.

He admitted he has ‘absolutely no idea’ how he would deal with snakes, before expressing his disgust over the idea of eating bugs.

‘I’m sure I’ll be fine, you can just get it – you can just get it down you, can’t you?’ He asked.

‘What? Eating bums? That’s not part of the show, is it?’ He then added.

Sounds like Mr Hancock might not have watched I’m A Celebrity before…

Earlier today on Good Morning Britain, his teaser for the show was compared to the 1980 horror film The Shining, while being ridiculed by the panel of presenters.

‘Do you know what, I think there is also amongst a huge number of people a sense of distaste,’ Susanna Reid said.

‘He thinks he’s light entertainment, and as I say it’s an excellent booking by ITV, because it’s getting so many headlines, but there are people who think that he was appalling in his job as health secretary, that he made huge numbers of mistakes. There’s people who blame him.’

I’m A Celebrity returns tonight at 9pm on ITV.
