Julia Fox has spoken out about her short-lived romance with Kanye West, blaming the sudden notoriety he brought her for a recent acting dry spell.
The 32-year-old actress reflected on her time with the global rap star and concluded the enormous attention she received had negatively impacted her chance of success in the film industry.
Noting the ‘shift in the acting way’ Julia revealed she felt things change once the high-profile relationship broke down on Valentine’s Day at the beginning of this year.
The six-week whirlwind romance was brought up during her conversation with Emily Ratajkowski on the High Low with EmRata podcast.
She told the model: ‘After the big relationship, I definitely noticed a shift in the acting way, not in a good way.
‘I’m not getting as many offers as I was before, weirdly. There’s been a lot of weird drawbacks with reaching that level of notoriety.’

The Uncut Gems star and former dominatrix insisted she is trying to remain positive about the future, despite some people in Hollywood viewing her as a ‘liability’ or ‘tabloid type of person’.
‘It’s fine, I’m so busy. I think things come to you at the right time, so that’s why I’m really not stressing. I really don’t care,’ Julia reassured herself and host, Emily.
She added: ‘I just have to trust the process.’

The famous mum-of-one shares a 20-month-old son Valentino, with her private pilot ex-husband Peter Artemiev and previously said she was ‘proud’ of her decision to leave the 45-year-old.
During a chat with ES magazine, the star revealed her relationship with Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband ‘wasn’t sustainable’.
She shared: ‘I was just going day by day and seeing where it went.
‘It was just like, he still wants to hang out with me today, let’s do it. And then real life set in and the lifestyle wasn’t sustainable.
‘I couldn’t fly away once a week. And I tapped out at the first sign of a red flag.’
Julia admitted the controversial artist’s ‘unresolved issues that he was dealing with’ were too much for her to take on.
However, the actress did acknowledge the brief romance as ‘the best thing that could’ve happened’ to her as it allowed her to hit a ‘reset button’ and reignite a ‘spark’ that she had forgotten about.
