Peter Kay has announced a further seven dates in Manchester’s AO Arena due to ticket pre-sale demand.
After a 12-year hiatus, the comedian told fans he was heading back out on the road, starting in December.
His Manchester stop comes early on in the schedule with the Bolton performer originally only stopping in the city for December 2 and 3.
Since, he has announced a host of other dates that will be available on Saturday, November 12 at 11 am.
Early access tickets for the upcoming performances were so in demand, the 02 website crashed before everyone that wanted one could get their hands on a seat.
In addition to returning to the stage, London’s O2 also released the news that the 49-year-old funnyman would become the first artist in the world to perform a monthly residency at the iconic venue.

His return from the shadows also brought with it the good news of low ticket prices that promised to match the last time he sold out shows in 2010.
Travelling the UK and Ireland, Peter will be touring until August 2023, delighting fans up and down the country.
Hoping to recreate history, his last tour in 2010 hit record highs and earned him the Guinness World Record for the biggest-selling run of all time.
Playing to a total of 1.2 million people, fans have been anticipating his return ever since.

In 2017, the star attempted to have another run at multiple stages but pulled the plug on the 14-month spectacle citing ‘unforeseen’ family issues.
Appearing during an ad break on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here this week, the comic finally gave fans the news they had been waiting years for.
Peter said: It’s good to get back to what I love doing best, stand-up comedy, and if there’s ever a time people need a laugh it’s now.
Continuing on to acknowledge the difficult situation for people amid the UK’s cost of living crisis, he promised to offer tickets at a reasonable price.
‘And with the cost of living at an all-time high, ticket prices are starting from £35 – the same price they were on my previous tour in 2010.’
Peter’s tour kicks off on December 2 in Manchester.
