Pokemon Scarlet and Violet – Nintendo will want to catch ’em all when it comes to leakers

Nintendo don’t seem to have noticed that someone’s streaming the whole of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet after physical copies leaked out early.

Considering how many games have broken their street date in the last couple of months there’s bound to be a massive crackdown on physical copies soon, especially once Nintendo realises that the whole of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet has been leaked.

As of time of writing someone on streaming platform Trovo is still playing the game, with at least 16 hours of footage so far and no sign of them stopping. So even if you resist the temptation of watching, the danger of spoilers floating around the internet is going to get even worse.

We’re certainly not going to spoil anything here, but the game isn’t out until next Friday, November 18, so this is bad news for the always secretive Nintendo.

The user, who has an offensive name we’re not going to repeat, initially started streaming on Twitch and managed to do so for around 30 minutes before his account was deleted.

So far the streamer doesn’t seem to have explained where they got the game from but there have already been reports of retailers breaking the release date for the physical version of the game, which has resulted in its fair share of leaks already.

Nintendo, or rather The Pokémon Company, hasn’t had much luck with leaks lately, as there were also major incidents with Sword/Shield and Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

If Nintendo finds out what retailer sold the games they’re not going to let them off with a friendly warning, but this is becoming a problem for everyone, considering other major games such as God Of War Ragnarök and Sonic Frontiers also leaked in a similar manner.

The director of God Of War Ragnarök was so upset at the situation that he took to Twitter to complain about the ‘f***ing stupid’ situation, that was potentially ruining the story experience for ordinary fans.
