Piers Morgan has reignited his long-standing feud with David Walliams by branding him ‘one of the nastiest frauds in TV.’

The TalkTV presenter voiced his opinion shortly after reports emerged that Walliams had called a Britain’s Got Talent contestant a ‘c**t’ in an audio recording picked up from his microphone on the judges’ panel.

It was also revealed that the comedian and author made derogatory remarks when referring to another person competing on the show, saying: ‘She thinks you want to f**k her, but you don’t,’ according to a leaked transcript seen by The Guardian.

While Walliams apologised for his offensive comments, claiming that his conversations were private, Morgan didn’t miss a beat in making his feelings known about him.

Sharing a link to the expose, Morgan wrote on Twitter: ‘Tip of the iceberg.. Walliams is one of the nastiest frauds in TV.’

Now, the former Good Morning Britain host, who was part of the Britain’s Got Talent panel from 2007 to 2010, has a fraught history with Walliams.

Earlier this year, Morgan had some choice words for Walliams while sharing his ‘love’ for the rest of the show’s judges.

Posting on Twitter in May, he shared his thoughts on the 2022 series. ‘Love the judging panel on @BGT – apart from David Walliams,’ he wrote.

‘All he does is drip & drool unctuously sycophantic drivel, and he’s soooooo creepy.’

Morgan has made his feelings known about Walliams on several occasions too, previously branding him a ‘treacherous piece of work’.

In August 2021, the broadcaster accused the Little Britain star of ‘liking’ nasty tweets about him.

‘Always fascinating to see high-profile people that I know quite well “liking” nasty tweets about me … presumably thinking they can do it on the sly and I won’t notice,’ he penned. ‘I always notice, and file away for a rainy day.’

When one of Morgan’s followers suggested Walliams was ‘a prime culprit’, he replied: ‘The absolute worst!’

One year prior in October 2020, Morgan revealed he turned down the opportunity to return to the talent show when Simon Cowell broke his back, citing that he refused because he didn’t want to work with Walliams.

In a scathing attack, he told Sunday Mirror: ‘I do have conversations with BGT every now and again, particularly after Simon had his injury.

‘But I couldn’t work with Walliams. I think he is a duplicitous, treacherous, piece of work.’

‘He is one of those people who says one thing to your face and then sticks it to you behind your back,’ he continued.

‘If he was sitting there I wouldn’t be interested. But if he wasn’t sitting there, who knows?’

Earlier that year, Morgan decided to boycott the National Television Awards (NTAs), which were hosted by Walliams.

‘There’s no point when the same people win the same awards every year,’ he said. I’d rather stay at home and watch Groundhog Day and the host David Walliams makes my skin crawl.’
