I’m a stylist and these fashion mistakes are making you look years older – it’s time to ditch the trainers
WHETHER you realise it or not, every time you get dressed your clothes could be making your look loads older.
And some of the more trendy items could be the worst offenders.

Personal stylist and image coach Melissa Lund told Express.co.uk that there are some styles that should be avoided if you don’t want to look older than you really are.
It turns out it’s all to do with what your wear on your feet, and even if the rest of your outfit’s perfect the wrong shoes will ruin everything.
“Somehow, tottering along like Bambi is ok when you’re young,” Melissa said.
But as you age stumbling in high heels isn’t a great look, she explained.

That said, trainers might not be the best bet either – sure, they’re comfortable but there are almost always more stylish options that are just as good.
There’s a time and a place for super comfy clothes, the stylist confessed, but even then some trends are a big no-no.
Super baggy clothes “don’t do anyone any favours,” she said.
Instead, try to mix your outfits up and wear one thing that’s loose, but something else more form fitting.

She said: “A long strap, black bag worn with everything is a sure fire way of being a style free zone.”
Mix it up with some colour and smaller, more chic styles for a youthful look instead.
