Liam Gallagher has been forced to cancel his gig in Paraguay due to ‘extreme weather’.
The Oasis legend is currently touring South America, and was due to play at Kilkfest in Paraguay tonight.
However, hours before the concert, he tweeted: ‘Paraguay – we’ve been advised that the show can’t happen tonight due to extreme weather.
‘Our team and the festival have done everything we can to try and make it work but safety is paramount.’
He added: ‘I guarantee you 100% that we’ll be back here as soon as we can to give you the show of your life LG x.’
The festival was also cancelled due to the weather in the country’s capital, Asunción.
People have been advised to hold onto their tickets and await further details.
Liam is due to continue his shows in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Monday, and Rio De Janeiro on Tuesday, before performing in Mexico City on Saturday November 19.
Earlier this year, Miley Cyrus was also among the artists having to cancel a show in Paraguay due to severe weather, after her plane was struck by lightning and forced to make an emergency landing.
Thankfully she was okay, but she was unable to fly into Paraguay entirely.
Elsewhere, Liam has been preparing for Christmas by launching some wrapping paper with his face emblazoned on it – because what else?
The paper includes 65 pictures of Liam’s face per sheet, with a source telling the Mirror: ‘Liam’s still got a massive fanbase. These could sell like hot cakes.’
Three sheets of the paper will set fans back £5. They can also get their hands on an ‘rkid’ bauble for £15, or a Santa stocking or hat for £25.
It’s definitely…a choice.
