Louis Tomlinson has revealed he will be unable to sign copies of his new album for fans next week after suffering a horrific break to his arm.

The One Direction star, 30, had been due to do eight in-person signings of his new album Faith In The Future, beginning in London on November 14 until the final one in Edinburgh, Scotland on November 17.

However, he told fans the dates would be rescheduled after he snapped a bone near his shoulder in his right arm.

He wrote on Twitter: ‘Thank you to everyone that’s listened to the new album so far, it means the world to me. The show last night in New York was incredible.

‘Unfortunately on the way back I’ve managed to fall and break my right arm pretty badly. So I’m gutted to say I’ll have to reschedule the in-store signings next week.

‘New dates will be announced very soon. Thank you for all your support and sorry to anyone who was coming next week. Louis.’

Fans were quick to share messages of support for the star, replying: ‘It is sad to read this, with all our hearts we hope you recover as soon as possible, PLEASE take care of yourself and listen to the doctors. The entire team of Louis en Tijuana wishes you a speedy recovery, we love you.’

Others added: ‘Please don’t stress too much about it. What everyone cares about now is your health! We will have Faith In The Future to keep us company. Stay positive,’ and ‘dont worry about it please!! take your time to heal.’

Another commented: ‘Don’t worry Louis rest well, don’t worry about us, it’s your health first.’
