Missing Celebrity X Factor star Levi Davis hasn’t used his bank cards or his phone for two weeks, his distraught mother has learned.

Rugby player Levi was last seen on October 29 at The Old Irish Pub in Barcelona, Spain, and has not been in touch with any friends or family since.

His mother, Julie Davis, who recently pleaded with him to come home in an appeal on Good Morning Britain, has shared her devastation after police said his phone signal was last picked up near Barcelona’s Sants mainline train station overnight on the day he went missing.

Levi’s mobile has not been used since, nor has he withdrawn money from his bank accounts.

‘Every day that Levi is missing makes the pain and heartache worse, we just want to know he is safe,’ Mrs Davis said.

‘It’s every mum’s worst nightmare. People tell you to always value a hug or a kiss as you don’t if it’ll be the last, I never used to understand that, but I get it now.

‘The police have told us that he hasn’t used either of his two bank cards nor his phone for two weeks.’

She continued to MailOnline: ‘We don’t know if he had cash and was getting a train or was staying close by or visiting someone near there.

‘There’s been no trace of him since then and we are getting more and more worried. But we are still keeping positive, and the police are doing all they can.

‘We’ve been told that he may have been sleeping rough in Barcelona over the last couple of days, but we aren’t 100% sure it was him.’

Mrs Davis said she last spoke to her son just after he arrived in Barcelona as he sent her a video message from an Irish bar of a singer performing.

‘He told me that he was hoping to travel around Europe and after Spain he was looking to go to France and see friends of his,’ she added.

‘I’m exhausted, I’ve had long meetings with police and consulate officials, and we’ve spoken to a local missing persons charity.

‘But I’m not giving up, we just want him to reach out to us and let us know he’s ok.’

Last week, Mrs Davis appeared on Good Morning Britain where she told hosts Susanna Reid and Ed Balls that her rugby player son had suffered an ACL injury which he worried would affect his career.

Before he left, she recalled him saying: ‘I need to go on a break, just sort my head out, have some time to refresh myself.’

Mrs Davis also recalled how her son struggled with ‘doing nothing’ since his injury.

Having first been with a friend in Ibiza, Levi decided to go to Barcelona, where he was totally on his own.

‘I think, given the state he was in, I think he’s probably deteriorated,’ the worried mum admitted.

‘He’d normally be in touch with me on a day-to-day basis or his friends, it makes it even more concerning.’

Explaining she was shortly going to Barcelona to search for her son herself, she thanked those who had been involved so far, and spoke to Levi directly in an emotive appeal.

‘Levi, please, if you see this message please get in touch,’ she asked.

‘I can’t begin to understand how you’re feeling but just know that I do love you and our family loves you, we just want you home.’

She went on to plead with anyone who had information that could help find Levi to get in contact using the email address findlevidavis@gmail.com.
