Margot Robbie has spoken out following reports of her ‘crying’ outside Cara Delevingne’s house.

The actress and model have been friends for a long time, and fans recently grew concerned for Cara’s well-being after rumours of her displaying ‘erratic’ behaviour.

Photographed in September, Barbie star Margot left the press and social media users speculating, as they claimed she was ‘distressed’ while leaving Cara’s house.

However, Margot has now clarified what really happened – and she wasn’t at Cara’s house at all.

Speaking with Vanity Fair for her cover star interview, the Suicide Squad star recalled her worried mother phoning her after paparazzi purportedly captured Margot ‘crying’ outside ‘Cara’s LA home.’

As rumours swirled, there were all kinds of claims made about Margot being worried about her co-star, who had also been snapped in previous weeks appearing upset.

Setting the record straight, Margot said her mum wanted to know if both she and Cara were ok.

‘I’m like, “First of all, yes and yes”,’ Margot explained, exasperated.

‘And second of all, I’m not at Cara’s house, I’m outside an Airbnb that I was renting for five days! And I’m not crying!”,’ she added.

‘I had something in my eye. I’m trying to grab my face mask, trying to hold a coffee cup, and I couldn’t get a hair outta my eye.’

So, that settles that!

Margot, who is Australian, also explained that the rules ‘protecting public figures’ are different than in LA.

As a result, her family Down Under have previously been pursued by photographers and found themselves in terrifying situations.

‘If my mum dies in a car accident because you wanted a photo of me going in the grocery shop, or you knock my nephew off a bike, for what? For a photo?’, she said.

‘It’s dangerous, but still weirdly nothing feels like it changes.’

In October, Margot and Cara travelled to Argentina for a holiday, and they were reportedly involved in an incident after a photographer was injured while trying to take pictures of them.

However, Margot is unable to comment due to the ongoing legal issues, but did reveal that she ‘could have been’ hurt when it happened.
