Good Morning Britain viewers were left cringing over a joke host Richard Madeley made to Susanna Reid about Dolly Parton’s boobs.
The presenter, 66, was a retelling one of his celeb stories about meeting the legendary country singer who just received Jess Bezos’ Courage & Civility Award with a $100 million prize.
Telling Susanna about a time he met Dolly, Richard shared: ‘I think I’ve told this story before and I’ll tell it again.
‘When we interviewed her, halfway through she just stuck her legs out into the air, and I looked at her, and this is live, and I said “God, you’ve got really tiny feet, haven’t you?”
‘And she looked at me and went “Nothing grows in the shade, honey’.”‘
As he said the comments, Richard pushed up and cupped his chest, adding: ‘She’s a living doll.’
But viewers seem to be getting a bit sick of the story, which they’ve heard before.

One person fumed on Twitter: ‘Madeley please STOP telling that Dolly Parton anecdote! You tell it at EVERY opportunity! Please get in your cringe Time Machine and go back to the 80’s where you belong. You are ruining morning telly for thousands!’
Someone else wrote: ‘Why does Madeley keep repeating stories “ I may have told this story about Dolly Parton before “ yes we have and it’s still not funny.’

Earlier last week, Bezos announced Dolly had received the billionaire’s award, with his partner, news anchor Lauren Sanchez, hailing the 9 to 5 hitmaker ‘a woman who gives with her heart and leads with love and compassion in every aspect of her work’ on Instagram.
She added: ‘We can’t wait to see all the good that you’re going to do with this $100 million award.’

In a video from the ceremony shared online, Dolly said, ‘Wow! Did you say $100 million?’
She continued: ‘I think people who are in a position to help should put their money where their heart is. I will do my best to do good things with this money.’
