The Great British Bake Off star Janusz has made quite the specs-tacular return to the Channel 4 show’s tense finale.
The well-loved Polish baker narrowly missed out on a place in the final three against fellow contestants Syabira, Sandro and Abdul, after Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith decided it was his time to go.
But he has continued to be a hit with fans, particularly after providing a hilarious update on his missing spring roll in the form of a Downing Street press conference.
Janusz, who is openly gay, also won praise for revealing he wore a colour of the pride flag each week on the programme in a nod to the LGBTQ+ community.
He has continued to delight viewers with his appearance on the nail-biting finale of GBBO, presented by Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding, on Tuesday.
The amateur pastry chef rocked a purple dinosaur jumper and jazzy, multi-coloured glasses emblazoned with ‘Cake Time.’
Fans flocked to Twitter, with one writing: ‘Watching the #GBBO finale just to see Janusz’s little smiley face and he did not disappoint me. Those glasses are everything I needed today.’
Another remarked: ‘Did anyone see Janusz’s “Cake Time” glasses on #GBBO – I need a pair!!’
A viewer exclaimed: ‘Januszglasses. ICONIC #gbbo We love you @januszbakes.’

GBBO was eventually won by Syabira, with her fellow finalists Abdul and Sandro thrilled by her victory.
‘I can’t believe it. It honestly hasn’t sinked down. It’s unbelievable,’ Syabira told the camera in shock, adding: ‘This is the biggest achievement of my life.’

Sandro appeared to become emotional as he reflected on how the win had made Syabira’s dream ‘come true’, while Abdul said: ‘For her this meant so much. I’m just so happy for her.’
