Harry Styles was left squinting and holding his eye after a fan threw a sweet on stage, which hit him in the eye.
The star, 28, was performing his Love On Tour show in Inglewood, California, when he was hit in the eye and visibly recoiled.
Fans, who were left fuming, reported seeing him squinting for the rest of the show after being hit by a Skittle sweet.
Pauli Lovejoy, a member of Harry’s band, confirmed he was uninjured, but urged fans to stop throwing things on stage.
‘H came through and confirmed his eye is okay,’ Pauli said. ‘But do me a favour, don’t throw no more Skittles on stage.’
That didn’t stop fans from raging about the incident, with one writing: ‘Whoever the f**k threw a solid object at his eye, u literally ruined kiwi bc he wouldn’t open his eye for the whole song.’
‘So you’re telling me harry recovered from the flu to get out there and perform for y’all only for you to throw SKITTLES AT HIS FACE AND HURT HIS EYE??? he performed all of kiwi like this oh im sick,’ another said.
One more added: ‘Harry was so smiley tonight and then someone ruined it by throwing f**king SKITTLES at his face, hitting him in the eye, like have some human decency.’

Even Skittles weighed in, with a tweet from the official account reading: ‘Didn’t think I needed to say this: Please don’t throw Skittles.’
It comes after the star was forced to cancel three shows after he came down with the flu.
Sharing a statement on social media, Harry began: ‘Towards the end of the show on Wednesday I started feeling ill and I’ve been in bed with the flu ever since.
‘I’ve been doing everything I can to be able to sing tonight but I’m leaving the doctor now and I’m devastated that it’s just not possible.’
Referring to Friday’s already delayed show, he continued: ‘Until very recently I haven’t had to postpone a show due to illness in the 12 years I’ve been touring. I’m so sorry to do it, and if there was anyway [sic] I could do the show I would.
‘I’m sorry this news is coming so close to show time, but it was my sincerest hope to be able to play for you tonight. I know several of you have planned trips to LA to see the show, and it means the absolute world to me,’ he added, apologising to his loyal fanbase.
