TikTok/@ya_boi_alex._Alex said that the colour transferred despite the fact the jeans didn’t get wet at all while they were being worn[/caption]
Alex took to TikTok to share a video explaining the situation, showing the jeans and her legs, and writing over the top: “Bought a pair of Poundland jeans for work cause it was last minute.
“No rain or water touched them, and yet it’s dyed my legs black?”
The 18-year-old added in the video caption: “@poundland_uk wtf bro #poundland #wth #fyp #worstthingever.”
People were quick to comment on the video, with one writing: “this has happened to me before and I thought I had caught a rare and deadly disease.”

“I had a pair of dark blue jeans from primark yearsss ago and without fail every time I’d wear them I’d turn into a Smurf,” another added.
“Omg I thought that was the jeans not your leg,” someone else said.
While others insisted the jeans need to be washed before wearing to ensure that the dye doesn’t transfer onto the skin.
“Always wash dark jeans before you wear them no matter the price, the dye always stains!” one wrote.
