Princess Anne apparently won’t be bothered at all about Mike Tindall revealing her incredible response to him splitting his trousers on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.
The former rugby pro, who’s married to Princess Anne’s daughter Zara Phillips, divided fans with his story about embarrassing himself in front of his mother-in-law.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Mike’s best friend James Haskell, who starred on the 2019 series of the show, insisted the Princess Royal won’t have ‘batted an eye’.
‘He’s not a working royal, Zara’s not a working royal,’ James pointed out. ‘It’s not King Charles talking about it, it’s not Prince William talking about it, it’s somebody so far removed making a comment.’
When asked by Richard Madeley whether he thinks Princess Anne would have been offended by Mike’s story, James responded: ‘No, not at all.
‘I don’t think she would have batted an eyelid. I don’t think it would have even registered.
‘I think it was a joke and it was funny, and what it’s done is, now I’ve heard that, I’ve gone, “Wow, not only did I have the utmost respect for her, but she’s gone a sense of humour and she’s put somebody back in their place.’

Chatting to his fellow campmates on Monday’s episode, Mike recalled dancing at Zara’s 30th birthday party.
‘It was a disco 70s themed party, I was dancing on the dancefloor, I had like, flares on, full outfit, but it was quite tight, nothing ever fits – rugby player’s bum and legs – so I was dancing with my mother-in-law and I did a sl*t drop in front of my mother-in-law,’ he recalled.
Mike continued: ‘Ripped my trousers, straight in front of her. It happened to be that my boxers that I had on at that time said, “nibble my nuts”.

‘As I’ve turned round, she’s gone, “I’d rather not. I’ve gone, I’m going”, and walked off.’
‘What a legend. Absolute legend. I would love to go to a party with Mike,’ Seann Walsh declared to cameras.
Meanwhile, Boy George, Chris Moyles, and Babatunde Aleshe left their campmates less than impressed after they only won three stars in the Angel of Agony Bushtucker trial on Tuesday night.
They were showered in bugs while trying to bring stars up several floors while trapped in a recreation of the Angel of the North statue.
However, each time one celebrity managed to push a star up a flight, another would drop it, leading to the entire process to begin again.
Babatunde especially despaired over what he called his ‘butter fingers,’ while George meditated his way through the shower of cockroaches by singing whatever came into his head – including, at one point, sing-shouting ‘I tried mother, I tried!’ and ‘Scorpions are my friends!’
Afterwards, Dec admitted to the trio that the trial was ‘really frustrating to watch,’ and accepted it must have been even worse to take part in.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV. I’m A Celebrity continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
