There’s a new collab between Rocket League and Fortnite that brings the Octane car and a bunch of quests to the battle royale.
Rocket League’s iconic Octane car has started spawning all around the Fortnite island, after the recent v22.40 update.
Another Rocket League set was released all the way back in Chapter 2 Season 4, but at the time the Octane was only available in the game’s creative mode.
Now, as part of the High Octane celebration, you can find it in the battle royale mode, as well as in zero build. So, let’s see exactly where the Octane spawns and how to complete this week’s quests…
All the Octane car locations in Fortnite
You should be able to spot Octane cars in multiple areas around the island, although if you don’t feel like exploring, we’ve found all the locations for you.
Here are all the 10 spawn spots for Octane cars in Fortnite:
On the racecourse at Chonker’s Speedway In the middle of Shiny Sound At the northern section of Rocky Reels On the western side of Cloudy Condos At the upper area of Chromejam Junction On the racetrack to the south of Chrome Crossroads In the middle section of Tainted Towers At the northwestern section of Greasy Grove

Even though it seems like a lot you’re advised to find one of the cars sooner rather than later, as once everyone else gets hold of them the map suddenly becomes a lot more dangerous.
The High Octane celebration will conclude on December 3, meaning you’ve got plenty of time to complete all the quests and grab some extra freebies.
How to complete the High Octane quests
To complete the High Octane quests, you’ll need to get behind the wheel and start doing some crazy driving, such as jumping through the air or doing a back flip.
The Octane car also has a few tricks up its sleeve, such as driving up vertical surfaces, so you can scale walls and other barriers with ease.
Let’s see what you need to do to complete all the High Octane quests in Fortnite:
Fly 100 metres continuously in an Octane (x1) Hit opponents while riding in an Octane (x3) Perform a 720 front flip or back flip in the air with an Octane (x1)
Completing each of these tasks will reward you with 20,000 XP, so you can earn a total of 60,000 XP if you’re feeling fast and furious.

As Chapter 3 Season 4 is coming to an end, there might be a few more quests arriving at Fortnite, as was the case with Skywalker Week and the Pickle Rick special.
However, don’t be surprised if it starts snowing on the island soon, as Winterfest celebrations are likely to coincide with the launch of Chapter 4 (yep, no Season 5 this time.)
