I tried on my wedding dress from 1996… I had to use pliers to get it on & the zip wouldn’t do up, here’s the full effect

She took to TikTok to share a video of herself trying to “squeeze back into” her dress from her 1996 nuptials.
“If you’re expecting a traditional 90s wedding dress, you’re not going to see one,” she said.
“I think you’re going to be a little bit surprised.
“I never got this preserved but 26 years later, the only thing that’s turning yellow is a little bit of detail at the top.

“And I still love it! I would wear this everywhere, everyday, if I could.”
The teacher added that she loved the dress so much that she was even considering getting it shortened and dyed so that she could wear it again.
“If I wanted to do that, I do know a seamstress who’s amazing, who could cut this to tea length and take out some of the crinolines,” she mused.
“But do you think I should?”
“The fact that you’re considering getting it reworked to wear again means you absolutely should do exactly that!” one person commented on the video.
“We have to create a ‘wear you wedding dress day’ – so sad that we pay so much money just to wear the dress just one day,” another added.
