Elizabeth Hurley has said she’d be open to doing another Austin Powers film with Mike Myers – but only after a slight wardrobe change.
The actress, 57, who played Vanessa Kensington in the successful James Bond parody film series, described Myers as ‘brilliant’ and ‘fabulously kind’.
Hurley featured in the 1997 original Austin Powers film, International Man of Mystery, and reprised her role briefly in 1999’s The Spy Who Shagged Me.
However, in that film, Kensington was revealed to be a robot, which then self-destructed at the beginning of the movie.
She didn’t appear in the 2002 second sequel, Goldmember, with Beyonce Knowles stepping in as Foxxy Cleopatra.
But speaking about a potential return to the franchise, Hurley seemed to hope there was a way back in for her character.

Speaking to People, she said: ‘Mike is a genius. It would be wonderful to do something with him again.’
However, she did say that one change would need to be made in order to guarantee her return: the costumes.
‘I’m not sure I’d fit in my costumes again,’ she joked, saying that she’d have to resume her role ‘in slightly different costumes’.
International Man of Mystery only grossed a worldwide total of £56million in 1997 (a total of £102million in 2022), but still turned in a large profit.
However, sequel The Spy Who Shagged me grossed an international total of £262million (£458million when adjusted for inflation), vastly outperforming the original film.
The third and final entry, Goldmember, grossed £248million worldwide (a total of £420million in 2022) and topped the UK Box Office.
Myers teased fans of the franchise by saying he could neither confirm nor deny the possibility that a fourth Austin Powers film might get made.

Back in May, he said: ‘I would love to do another, but you just have to see,’ citing parenting as one of the main reasons for delays on production.
In 2018, he told Access Online: ‘But the movie, you know I’ve had three kids under the age of seven. [The films] take a long time to write.’
