After making her mark as a solid fan favourite during her time on Strictly Come Dancing, Oti Mabuse revealed that she wouldn’t pass the opportunity to appear on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!.

Since waving goodbye to the flagship BBC One programme, the 32-year-old has joined the Dancing on Ice judging panel and fronted her own ITV dating show Romeo and Duet.

While it seems like the Latin pro has already got her hands full with various projects, including celebrating the launch of Disney’s sequel Disenchanted – which stars Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey – she’s open to venturing into other reality shows.

When asked whether she would appear on I’m A Celebrity, she told Metro.co.uk: ‘I would never say never to anything because you don’t know what’s going to happen, especially when you have different shows.

‘I work on different channels, and you don’t know what opportunities.

‘I would never close any door, if it works and it feels right then I’ll do it at that moment.’

Elsewhere ahead of next year’s launch – which features Love Island’s Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and The Wanted’s Siva judge Oti revealed which contestant she was looking forward to see take to the ice.

‘I’m so excited for The Vivienne,’ she added.

‘The first drag queen we’ve ever had on an entertainment show. I cannot wait to see how well they do, and Vivienne works hard, really talented, and looking forward to seeing that side, it’s going to be a good watch.

‘Joey Essex, I can’t wait to see, because he’s partnered with Vanessa [Bauer], so we get to see a more serious side and the new pros, they always bring something fresh to the show.

To get everyone in the Christmas spirit, Oti took the London streets and surprised the public with a musical flashmob.

Addressing what the annual festive occasion means to her, she said: ‘Christmas is a time when my whole family comes together, we all live in separate parts of the world, one living in Cape Town, the other in Germany and it’s a time for everyone to come together.’

Reflecting on her latest project, she added: ‘Doing stuff like Disney and being a part of this world and getting to know them is something special, I take these moments and create memories out of them.’

Disenchanted, the all-new musical and sequel to ‘Enchanted’ starring Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, Maya Rudolph, Idina Menzel and James Marsden debuts on Friday 18th November, exclusively on Disney+.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! returns tomorrow at 9pm on ITV.
