Heidi Klum, 49, and her 18-year-old daughter Leni slipped into sheer lingerie for an recent photoshoot that proved the youngster well and truly inherited her mum’s model genes.

The international model perched on one side of the stool she shared with her mini-me and looked flawless in the rouge lacy set that flaunted her taunt stomach.

Resting her head on her mum’s shoulder, Leni wore a silk tank top and shorts pyjama set the was trimmed with a lace finish.

The mother and daughter duo appeared content and comfortable in the shot that pictured both parties lounging with their eyes shut.

Partnering with Intimissimi, the campaign came after fans previously criticised Heidi for ‘sexualising’ her child in a past shoot with the same brand, where Leni could be seen sporting an embroidered white lingerie set.

Calling it ‘weird’, social media users pounced on the mother of four for posing with her scantily clad teenager with one going as far to say: ‘Sexualizing your daughter the moment they turn legal is weird’.

The debate surrounding the pictures was taken on the airwaves after Howard Stern told listens on his SiriusXM show: ‘I looked at it and I thought, ‘This is so f**king’ out of line.

‘It is so inappropriate. But you can’t stop looking at it.’

Despite the backlash, the college student couldn’t understand the upset on social media and hit back at nay-sayers when she told Page Six: ‘I honestly didn’t look at a lot of the reactions.

‘I am overall happy with the campaign and I had an amazing day with my mom.’

Grateful for her supermodel parent, she gushed: ‘Just the advice she gives me, the way she works, everything about her, I can go on and on. I love shooting with her.’

Offering her two cents on the behaviour of model mums in general, Ulrika Jonsson slammed the women who had opted to tag-team with their offspring for underwear campaigns.

In her column with the Sun, the broadcaster explained: ‘Heidi joins a string of model and celebrity mums who have made the strategic decision to exhibit their girls.

‘Cindy Crawford did it with Kaia; the delectable Kate Moss has posed with her model daughter, Lila; Yolanda Hadid loves showing off Gigi and Bella and even Gwynnie has been known to flaunt her beloved Apple.’
