Several much-needed changes have been made to Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 after patch 1.11 was released.

The game’s second patch update, including the Season 1 update, has brought even more bug fixes as well as more improvements to the much-hated UI system.

CDL modes, which stands for Call Of Duty League, are also re-introduced to the game after being disabled for some time, due to bugs in their playlists.

Another important fix also addresses a glitch in the battle pass, which now shows the correct number of tokens you’ve collected. So, no need to stress anymore, if you thought you wouldn’t be able to go through it by the end of Season 1 in February 2023.

However, if you’ve been more caught up in the weapon customisation aspects of Modern Warfare 2, you’ll see a better navigation option for your locked and unlocked camos.

Basically, you can now toggle the option to show (or hide) locked camos, meaning that everything looks much tidier.

Unlocking rare weapon camos is one of the most complicated challenges in the game, meaning that now you’ll waste no time showing them off once you’ve got them.

Being able to see what looks good on each weapon without it taking you ages to scroll through the camos list might sound like a relatively small improvement, but it’ll save you plenty of time in the long run.

Some players were quite appreciative of the change in the camos menu, saying that now they don’t have to ‘scroll endlessly’ to find solid colours.

You can turn off show locked camos, now i don’t have to scroll endlessly to get to the solid colours lmao. Nice little feature, now can we add more slots to the killfeed #MW2 pic.twitter.com/Dt0ybglGwW

However, there were some players that weren’t fully convinced, as they claimed they couldn’t fully see their weapons after the update.

Other than the much-needed UI fix, there were also some general improvements such as removing various incorrect texts and hearing random notifications while in-game.

Modern Warfare 2 has also been discounted to £57 (it was originally £70) as part of Amazon’s Black Friday sales, so if you’ve held back from getting it, now might be the right time.
