Netflix delights You fans as release date for season 4 is brought forward-Emily Bashforth-Entertainment – Metro
Get excited!
If you’re a fan of You then you’re in luck, because Netflix has only gone and brought the release date forward for season 4!
The thrilling drama, starring Penn Badgley as the sinister Joe Goldberg, is still set to return in two parts.
However, the first instalment was initially dropping on Friday February 10, 2023, and part two was to follow on March 10, 2023.
Now, though, the streaming giant has revealed that the first part will actually land on February 9, with the second following on March 9.
Ok, it’s only one day earlier, but still that means less time to wait to discover what other villainous lengths Joe is willing to go to in the name of love.
Reacting to the date change, fans on Twitter could barely contain their excitement, as they shared a poster of Joe standing in a busy London street.
‘I’m ready’, wrote one fan, while another tweeted: ‘Them Joe internal monologues gonna go crazy once again.’
But, with a few months to go, You viewers aren’t exactly going to be waiting patiently.
While one fan accused Netflix of ‘playing with my emotions’, another said: ‘February seem like a century away though’.
We’ll be binge-watching seasons 1, 2 and 3 in the meantime.
Season 4 will see Joe take on a new identity to start his new life in the English capital city, after the brutal events of season 3.

Similarly to season 2, Mr Goldberg will start a fresh chapter by adopting the identity of Professor Jonathan Moore, using his impressive book knowledge to blend in with his new crowd.
Although he promises to keep his ‘typical extracurricular activities strictly professional’, and those familiar with Joe knows what he’s capable of doing.
As well as the killer everyone loves to hate, Uncharted actress Tati Gabrielle is returning as Joe’s brief love interest Marienne Bellamy.

Plus, there’ll be some new faces in season 4 – and we’re already terrified for their fate.
Former EastEnders stars Amy-Leigh Hickman (Nadia) and Tilly Keeper (Phoebe) will make their Netflix debut as show regulars.

According to Deadline, Amy stars as Nadia, who is a literature major who aspires to be a serious author.
Tilly, meanwhile, plays Lady Phoebe. The Louise Mitchell star was revealed to have landed a role in the popular show last month, as word of You moving production to the UK was made public knowledge.
You season 4 part 1 returns to Netflix on February 9 2023, and part 2 premieres March 9.
