Strictly Come Dancing star Fleur East had plenty of reasons to celebrate after her rumba… but perhaps she celebrated a little too hard.

The former X Factor star danced a sultry routine with pro partner Vito Coppola to Too Lost In You by Sugababes.

After securing a perfect score during last week’s live show for her incredible Destiny’s Child couple’s choice, the 35-year-old singer had high expectations to meet.

Following on from their Blackpool success, Fleur and Vito received a mixed reaction from the judges, with Craig Revel Horwood saying: ‘I felt like you were holding back and that was like a block for some reason… but I loved the connection that you had with each other.’

Anton Du Beke added: ‘I felt that you had the control of the dance and not the other way round.’

Shirley Ballas said: ‘I thought it was extremely passionate, I was getting all hot and bothered over here!’

But, the radio host still earned an impressive score of 35 out of 40, which consisted of three eights and a nine.

With the rumba notoriously difficult, the pair were overjoyed with their marks… so much so, that Fleur actually headbutted Vitto!

As they jumped up and down with joy, the Sax hitmaker accidentally bumped into her pro, but he was able to laugh it off.

‘You are celebrating with a headbutt!’, host Claudia Winkleman exclaimed.

‘Everything ok?’, she asked, as Vito clutched his nose.

‘Yeah, we’re ok, we’re ok,’ Fleur insisted, as the Italian choreographer giggled.

After coming joint second on the leaderboard, the duo were also showered in praise by viewers at home.

‘All my online votes went to @FleurEast tonight its what she deserves the rumba is a difficult dance and she did brilliantly, please vote Fleur and Vito!’, one fan tweeted.

Despite the inevitable Strictly ‘curse’ rumours, Fleur’s 12-year marriage to Marcel has remained rock solid, with the show being a ‘blessing’ for their romance.

Appearing on the Graham Norton show, Fleur said: ‘The show’s been a blessing for my marriage, it’s been great.
