When Kanye West said he was running for President, he meant it. And now, he’s quite literally wearing his campaign on his sleeve.
The Gold Digger rapper – who officially changed his name to Ye – stepped out wearing a jacket branded with ‘YE24’ as he prepares to run for Office.
West, 45, was photographed leaving Messianic Church in Los Angeles, flashing a smile to cameras as he climbed into his car.
Showing he’s serious about occupying the White House, the musician’s red, white and black jacket was emblazoned with the slogan in a bold text, as were his boots.
Apart from the obvious, West cut a low-key figure in a pair of jeans and cap after spending time at his place of worship.
West – who split from ex-wife Kim Kardashian last year – announced his presidential campaign earlier this month, also sharing that far-right commentator Milo Yiannopoulos is his new campaign manager.

West later released a series of promotional videos for his 2024 campaign, having already asked Donald Trump to be his running mate.
Detailing what his intentions would be should he win the election, he said in the video: ‘I think the thing that Trump was most perturbed about, me asking him to be my Vice President. I think that was lower on the list of things that caught him off guard. It was the fact that I walked in with intelligence.’
West claimed that Trump, 76, was ‘really impressed’ with Nick Fuentes, a far-right commentator whose YouTube channel was permanently suspended in 2020 for violating the video platform’s hate speech policy.
The Grammy Award-winning star described Fuentes as a ‘loyalist’, as he went on to reference the January 6 Capitol riot in the US in 2021, asking: ‘Why, when you had the chance, did you not free the January 6-ers?’

‘I came to him as someone who loves Trump and I said go and get Corey [Lewandowski] back, go and get these people that the media tried to cancel and told you to step away from.’
West recalled how Trump spoke about the release of Alice Johnson from jail, who Kardashian had previously pleaded with the then-President to grant clemency.
According to West, Trump said that he ‘didn’t do it for Kim, but he did it for me’, before alleging that the former US President made a derogatory remark about West’s ex-wife.

‘I was thinking like, that’s the mother of my children,’ the Yeezy founder stated.
West concluded his video by speaking about the ‘Christians in America that love Trump and now that Trump is a conservative’.
‘We’re gonna demand that you hold all policies directly to the Bible,’ he said.
His run for President follows a string of controversies for the artist, after he hosted a fashion show wearing a ‘White Lives Matter’ hoodie and also made anti-Semitic comments.

Consequently, he was dropped from Adidas after working with the brand for nine years.
His relationship with Vogue editor Anna Wintour also become strained, with the fashion powerhouse reportedly refusing to work with him again.

However, someone West does have on his side is Elon Musk, since his Twitter account has been reinstated.
West was locked out of both Twitter and Instagram last month after sharing posts which violated the platforms’ policies.
He returned with his first post-ban post on November 3, sharing a photo of NBA basketball player Kyrie Irving with no caption attached.
