Jill Scott may have just been crowned Queen of the Jungle but there was one thing she couldn’t get off her mind during her I’m A Celebrity stint – the World Cup scores.

The campmates didn’t have contact with the outside world while they were on the show, with Jill missing out on watching England’s first two games of the Qatar World Cup.

They were finally let in on the excitement when they were treated to ice lollies, with the scores printed on the sticks. However, before that point, Jill and campmate Owen Warner were apparently hounding producers to tell them the scores.

Asked on Good Morning Britain whether it was harder being away from her fiancee Shelly Unitt or missing the World Cup, Jill warned: ‘Don’t get me into trouble!’ adding that of course she missed Shelly more.

However, she said: ‘I have missed the World Cup games so much. Me and Owen were begging for the scores and they were like, “We can’t tell you, we can’t tell you.”

‘The day we had an ice lolly and the scores were revealed on the stick was one of the best days in the jungle.’

Jill, who has been widely praised for her I’m A Celebrity journey, and who received the ‘majority’ of the 12million votes from the public, said she threw herself into everything and wanted to make the most of the experience.

She went on to say she’s got no idea what’s next – so watch this space!

After fellow campmate Mike Tindall placed the crown on Jill’s head, she told Ant and Dec: ‘I just can’t believe it!

‘Honestly, I think I’m going to owe my grandma a lot of money for the 12million votes she’s done.’

She added: ‘We were one big team, I don’t think there should be one winner, we couldn’t have got through it without all of us.’

The star was also reunited with fiancee Shelly on the iconic bridge after her win.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV. I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here is available for catch-up on ITVX.
