Tailoring is one of our favourite trends for a put together but comfortable look so a blazer is a must in your wardrobe. For something more flamboyant, it’s a well known fact that sequins never really go out of style, so opt for a skirt or trousers covered in them as the centrepiece of your outfit.

Christmas is such a special time because although there are lots of events to dress up for, it’s also the time of year when cosying up at home draped in a blanket with a hot drink in front of a heartwarming film is just as enjoyable.

2. Teal velvet high neck midi dress

A proper party piece

Wrapping comfort and style into one, this tiered midi dress subtly plays with the corset trend we’ve seen all over the Autumn/Winter ’22 catwalks.

With a thin elasticated band around the waist and just above the chest, it gives the impression of a corseted section which means it creates a fitted shape around the top, before billowing out and cinching back in around mid-thigh for a waterfall effect.

3. Christmas oatmeal après ski jumper

Feeling festive!

Is Christmas truly Christmas without a Christmas jumper (try saying that after a few mulled wines)? Of course not. Although some can be a little garish, the après ski design from Tu sits nicely between festive and wearable.

5. Christmas women’s family red candy cane jumper

CAn you beat a good Christmas jumpers?

A more colourful Christmas jumper than the après ski offering, this candy cane design is more of a sweater than a jumper.

It has a high but round neck which keeps the length of your neck open and is a tighter fit for a boxier finish. Red and blue stripes offset the white nordic silhouettes and bolder candy cane pattern.

6. Fuchsia pink velvet high neck midi dress

We’re very much of the mindset that if you’re going to do sequins, you might as well really do them, so why go for anything less than a glittering pink midi skirt?
