Picture the scene: it was 2006, and showbiz icons Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, and Paris Hilton were at the top of their game.
Then, on November 28, a paparazzi picture was taken that might have just secured their legacies in pop culture history.
Yep, it’s the anniversary of the iconc Holy Trinity photo, which saw Lindsay, Britney and Paris hanging out in the front seat of a car.
Paris, 41, made us all feel very old this week as she shared the news, posting the snap and writing: ’16 years ago this happened and the “Holy Trinity” was born.’
Last year, she opened up about the photo and revealed the car ride was a little awkward after Lindsay ‘crashed’ the night out.
Apparently a paparazzo asked Paris, who was with Britney, now 40, at the time, about a video circulated in which Lindsay claimed that Paris hit her.
Paris then saw Lindsay walking towards her, and instructed the cameraman to ask her, to which Lindsay responded: ‘No, Paris would never hit me, I’ve known her since [I was] 15.’

The star claimed on her This Is Paris podcast: ‘She did some things to really hurt me and betrayed my trust, and caused a lot of drama. So we weren’t friends anymore, and it was kind of like this on and off friendship.
‘But when I think about it now, we were just so young, immature. It was like high school drama, especially in the LA scene, and to live it out in public with the media constantly trying to stir things up and make things worse than they were.’
It’s been an eventful 16 years for the trio and their friendship – but they now seem to be getting on better than ever.
Paris and Lindsay, 36, reconnected last year.
‘I just feel like we’re grown-ups now,’ Paris said. ‘I just got married. She just got engaged. We’re not in high school. I think it was just very immature and now everything is all good.’
She added on Watch What Happens Live: ‘I saw that she got engaged when I was on my honeymoon, so I just said congratulations. No bad blood.’
Earlier this year, Paris also attended Britney’s wedding to Sam Asghari.
She said at the time: ‘I’m so happy for her. She’s like an angel. And it was just an iconic night with so many incredible powerful women and we had the most epic night ever.’
Although things have been more low key between Britney and Lindsay, it was reported earlier this year that the Mean Girls actress reached out to the singer.
