Warwick Davis looked absolutely thrilled to be taking his family along to a Hollywood screening of upcoming Disney Plus series, Willow.

The eight-parter is a reboot of the 1988 dark fantasy adventure movie of the same name, which saw the Star Wars actor, 52, play hero Willow Ufgood.

The film follows the journey of young Willow, a farmer who is drawn into a dangerous adventure in an effort to protect a baby who is being sought after by an evil queen.

Fans of the classic film were thrilled to learn the Harry Potter performer reprises the iconic role in the TV adaptation, which is set several years after the events of the classic film.

And now they don’t have much longer to wait, with the first two episodes dropping on the Mouse House’s streamer on Wednesday.

Ahead of the programme’s highly-anticipated launch, Warwick, along with his wife Samantha Davis and children Anabelle and Harrison attended a special influencer screening of Willow at The Magic Castle in Hollywood on Monday.

Samantha, meanwhile, wore a black dress, while Annabelle, who starred in CBBC’s The Dumping Ground, sported a red strapless dress.

Harrison complimented his father and wore matching blue jeans, shirt and jacket, rounding off his look with brown brogues.

Other actors starring in Willow include Ellie Bamber, Dempsey Bryk, Erin Kellyman and Amar Chadha-Patel, who were also at the LA event.

Warwick had previously told Metro.co.uk he had hoped his co-star Val Kilmer, who played Mad Martigan, would be joining the series, although sadly he is not part of the new cast.

‘Val and I have kept in touch throughout the years,’ he said at the tme, recalling a special episode of Ricky Gervais’ series Life’s Too Short, which featured him and Val addressing the possibility of a Willow sequel.

‘It’s quite poignant right now. Val and I often talked about doing something together again, how much we enjoyed working with each other. And so to reunite on screen for us, I think it would be a joy for us to do, and also for the audience to see.’

Willow premieres on Disney Plus on Wednesday, November 30.
