Wives and girlfriends of the Welsh football team were determined to get their celebrations in early ahead of their men taking the field against England in the World Cup 2022.

Before Wales was knocked out of the tournament by the English side, their fan club proved they knew how to party in a number of behind-the-scenes Instagram posts.

The WAGs uploaded videos and pictures that saw them shotting back copious amounts of spirits and cartwheeling across the floor.

Seen ploughing into the alcohol on the eve of the highly anticipated clash with the off and on pitch rivals, the women showed the world they were ready to make the most of what would be a short stint in Qatar.

Beginning with an al fresco lunch appointment, the ladies dined at local restaurant Nammos before embarking on their rowdy late-night antics.

Pictures on social media showed the group enjoying a lavish spread on a long table near the beach that included vodka shots for dessert.

Bikini-clad fiancée of player Chris Mepham, Jodie Francis, 24, and one other WAG were spotted downing shots, while another stood close by guzzling vodka straight from the bottle.

Other members of the support system included MK Don star Matt Smith’s fiancée Emily, 23, Rebecca Naylor, girlfriend of Leicester keeper Danny Ward and Nicole Hagan, linked to Nottingham Forest’s Neco Williams.

Continuing on with the festivities, a video then captured the sister of footballer Harry Wilson, Annie, performing a wobbly cartwheel before she came crashing down on top of a coffee table amid fits of giggles from the rest of the jovial squad.

The WAGs took a moment to breathe and soaked up the hot climate of the country in a pool before posing for a memorable sunset snap that featured all 19 women.

Following their 3-0 loss to the English national side, the women will be glad of their blow-out amid packing their bags and bidding farewell to the Qatari weather.

There will be many a lending of shoulders needed from the Welsh WAGs as they consol their footie family members who have since been knocked out of the World Cup tournament.

Goals scored by England’s Marcus Rashford and Phil Foden ended the journey for the Welsh side that found themselves competing in the competition for the first time in 64 years.

While the Wales natives add commiserations to their hangovers, England’s leading ladies are gearing up to cheer on their men as they fight off the last 16 teams for a place in the final.
