Kevin Owens picked up a huge win on WWE Raw after insisting he is done with Sami Zayn for good.

The Prizefighter found himself in the main event on Monday night as he battled Jey Uso a couple of nights after his lifelong best friend Sami sacrificed him to prove his loyalty to The Bloodline.

The impact of Survivor Series WarGames was strong, with the Honorary Uce coming out with The Usos and Solo Sikoa to celebrate their win over Owens, Sheamus, Ridge Holland, Butch and Drew McIntyre.

KO soon interrupted and insisted while he understands why Sami betrayed him on Saturday night, he doesn’t want to fight or team with him anymore, and they’re done for good.

He again warned him about The Bloodline and pointed out that he’s not their actual family, and the whole thing led to Owens and Jey setting up a blockbuster match to headline the show.

Jey had his family, and Sami, at ringside for the huge bout, while KO came out alone for what turned out to be a fantastic battle between two supremely talented stars.

In the end, Owens scored the win with a Stunner, getting a measure of revenge and scarpering before The Bloodline could jump on the attack.

There’s no way he and Sami will stay out of each other’s way for too long, and the end game here is surely the best friends reuniting to take The Usos’ tag team titles at some point in 2023.

Dexter Lumis earns WWE contract, Street Profits and Candice LeRae return and Becky Lynch sparks brawl

The night kicked off with Becky Lynch making a triumphant return to Raw following her comeback at Survivor Series, as she brilliantly went into the crowd to chat to her fans and lay down her goals to take over the women’s division again now she’s back.

Bayley came out to loud boos, noting she wanted some respect from the fans, and Lynch nearly went to confront her in the ring before noticing Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky approaching through the crowd.

She turned to fight the Damage CTRL duo up to the concourse, destroying the merch stand as The Man fought all three women until security and officials broke things up.

In the first match of the show, Mia Yim took on Rhea Ripley (with Dominik at ringside) as they worked well together until things broke down with AJ Styles coming to take out Rey Mysterio’s son Dom, all leading to a no contest.

From there, the rest of The O.C. and Judgment Day poured down to the ring for a huge brawl, while AJ insisted their feud would end right there and then in a four-on-four match.

The action kicked off and delivered entertainment and drama in spades, with everyone having their moments and looking strong before Rhea hitting Michin – who bodyslammed Finn Balor at one point – with the Riptide for the win.

Later, the Street Profits returned to action as Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins won a fantastic tag team bout against Alpha Academy’s Chad Gable and Otis.

New United States Champion Austin Theory came out to celebrate his win only to be interrupted by Seth Rollins, who kept calling his rival ‘kid’ to unnerve him.

This was a fun, tense segment as their issues with each other continue to simmer, while Theory is thriving in his new role.

Dexter Lumis can clearly take a lot of punishment (Picture: WWE)

Dexter Lumis beat The Miz in a fun Anything Goes match, with an undoubted highlight being the show coming back from an ad break to the Tortured Artist no-selling his head being trapped in an actual vice grip.

Lumis got the win to earn himself an official WWE contract, and a bag of money which he gave to the fans with the help of Johnny Gargano.

Speaking of Gargano, his wife Candice LeRae made her return from injury this week as he looked for some revenge against Dakota Kai, with Bayley and Iyo Sky kept away from ringside.

This was a great match with the two stars given plenty of time to tell an entertaining story, en route to LeRae scoring a win with an avalanche neckbreaker.

WWE Raw airs Monday nights at 1am on BT Sport 1.
