WWE star Dexter Lumis hands out $100 bills to young fans after winning Raw contract-Alistair McGeorge-Entertainment – Metro

Dexter Lumis is officially a member of the WWE roster after last night’s episode of Raw and he celebrated in a very giving way.

The Tortured Artist – who was released at the end of April – returned over summer and has been seen stalking and terrorising The Miz on-screen, with the storyline providing plenty of twists and turns over the past few months.

On Monday’s episode, Lumis found himself in an Anything Goes Match against the A-Lister where he would earn himself a contract with a win.

He picked up the victory after a wild and entertaining bout, getting revenge over the man who, in the storyline, brought the former NXT star to Raw and offered to pay him to pretend to attack him to garner sympathy from the fans.

As Johnny Gargano exposed, this didn’t go to plan and Miz withheld the money, meaning Lumis started to hunt him down to get what he was owed.

This week, the star got a big win over his rival and signed a contract presented to him by on-screen official Adam Pearce, before being handed a bag full of the money he was owed.

Instead of keeping it for himself, Lumis started handing out what looked to be $100 bills to random fans on the front row.

In a brilliantly evil move, Miz then appeared and nicked one of the notes back from a disappointed boy, only for Gargano to appear and floor him with a Superkick.

He gave the note back to the fan, and celebrated with Lumis on the stage, with viewers now left wondering what the star will do next now that he’s officially recognised as part of the roster.

While it’d be smart for him to move on from Miz after such a long story, having Gargano still involved makes some sense given that he’s been part of the storyline, while they have plenty of history from their days in NXT.

There, Gargano and his real life wife Candice LeRae formed The Way with Indi Hartwell and current United States Champion Austin Theory, while Indi’s on-screen romance with Lumis provided plenty of entertaining moments before his release in April.

WWE Raw airs Monday nights at 1am on BT Sport 1.
