Below Deck’s Captain Lee Rosbach reveals Real Housewives star was ‘rude’ to him at BravoCon-Rishma Dosani-Entertainment – Metro

Below Deck icon Captain Lee Rosbach has revealed that a fellow Bravo star was ‘rude’ to him and we’re prepared to do whatever it takes to protect him.

The fan-proclaimed ‘Stud of the Sea’ joined a string of famous faces at last month’s event in New York, celebrating all things Bravo.

Many Real Housewives favorites were on the guestlist, with stars from all the Below Deck franchises, Married To Medicine, Family Karma and more also enjoying the occasion.

However, the 73-year-old confessed that one mystery star wasn’t very nice when they initially met.

Appearing on Watch What Happens Live alongside Leva Bonaparte, the pair played a game of ‘truth or drink’, where they had to answer savage questions or take a sip of their drink.

Host Andy Cohen asked: ‘Who was the rudest Bravolebrity you encountered at BravoCon?’

Southern Hospitality star Leva teased that she didn’t have the best time with an east coast Housewife – but wouldn’t be pressed on their identity, other than confirming that it was not Ramona Singer.

Turning his attention to Captain Lee, the presenter questioned: ‘Was any Bravolebrity rude to you? No Bravolebrity would ever be rude to you!’

‘I don’t think she actually knew who I was…,’ he cryptically responded. ‘It was one of the girls from Dubai.’

When Andy clarified that the mystery star was ‘rude’ to him, he simply added, ‘yeah’, before moving on with the next question.

We need answers and we need them now.

Captain Lee has been a staple of the wheelhouse ever since the first series of Below Deck set sail in 2013, and has just left the dock for season 10.

In that time, he has welcomed countless crew members and charter guests onto a selection of stunning yachts, and has become a firm fan favorite.

However, other yachties weren’t too thrilled with the intimate glimpse into their industry – as he recalled being told that his sailing career was ‘over’ after taking part in the early seasons.

Appearing at a BravoCon panel, he told the audience: ‘I remember getting a lot of, “You’re never going to work in this business again”, 10 years ago.

‘And, “Your career is over”.’

‘I was told if you do this, you won’t be taken [seriously] as a professional anymore,’ Captain Sandy Yawn, who leads the way on the Mediterranean spin-off, agreed. ‘When it first started, our industry hated it. They deplored it.

‘I’m like, “Well, that really happens in our industry.” And I think they didn’t like it because it really showed what really happened.’

Below Deck Down Under star Captain Jason Chambers explained that everyone previously considered the show ‘detrimental’ to yachting, a notion that has changed over the years.

‘Yeah, absolutely, and it’s because of all the fans,’ Captain Sandy shared. ‘I think Bravo has done a great thing because they showed middle America that you could actually get a job on a boat. The second thing is you can actually charter and go out there.

‘Our industry has gone up 35% since the airing of Below Deck.’

Below Deck airs on Mondays on Bravo, and is available to stream on hayu.
