Kimberley Walsh has expressed her devastation over Sarah Harding not being here to celebrate 20 years since Girls Aloud formed.
It’s officially two decades since Cheryl, Nicola Roberts, Nadine Coyle, Kimberley, and the late Harding were put together on Popstars: The Rivals, kickstarting their career as one of the best girl groups ever.
Girls Aloud enjoyed huge successes over the years, with their first-ever single, Sound of the Underground, topping the charts upon its release in 2002 becoming Christmas number one.
They went on to achieve three more number one tracks, with The Promise, I’ll Stand By You, and Walk This Way, as well as 20 top 10 songs.
Harding sadly died aged 39 last September after revealing she had breast cancer which had spread to other parts of her body, leaving Girls Aloud and fans across the world heartbroken.

Kimberley, 41, expressed her sorrow as she marked the anniversary by sharing a number of photos of the girls, while also paying tribute to Harding.
‘Happy 20 years girls!’ she penned in the caption.
‘Wow I am proud of what we achieved and love you all much. There is a huge hole in my heart that Sarah isn’t here to celebrate this with us, but I am looking through pictures, sobbing and remembering all the amazing times we shared.
‘A girl band is a bond that no one can ever break. The memories will always stay with us forever.’

BBC Radio 1 presenter Clara Amfo was among the famous faces to celebrate the milestone, and wrote: ‘Bangers on bangers!’
Pussycat Doll Kimberley Wyatt penned: ‘LOVE!!! ❤️🙌❤️’
Denise Van Outen said: Thinking of you all ❤️
Last month, Kimberley revealed that Girls Aloud may never perform again as she thinks it would be ‘too painful’ for them to reunite following Harding’s death.

‘We’re not really doing anything to celebrate that for obvious reasons, but what’s been really nice is we’ve been able to still come together and do some really positive fundraising for Sarah’s charity,’ she told This Morning.
‘It’s been incredible. We’ve funded a whole research project that she wanted us to raise money for. We are really proud of the fact we’ve managed to do that for her.’
