It’s happening again and we can’t bear to look.

It seems like we’ve not seen the last of Matt Hancock’s singing, with the politician serenading his girlfriend Gina Coladangelo with an Ed Sheeran cover on the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Coming Out Show.

The former health secretary surprised the whole country, and even himself, by making it all the way to the finale this week, however he ultimately came third, with Jill Scott taking the title.

After declaring his love for the Shivers hitmaker minutes into his I’m A Celeb journey, and making Seann Walsh endure a performance, he’s back at it.

After leaving camp and being reunited with his girlfriend, Hancock broke out into song on the drive back to their hotel.

Of course, that’s also been captured on camera, and we will get to watch it unfold tomorrow night.

Gina doesn’t seem too keen on his rendition of Ed’s tune and she looks like she is totally embarrassed.

There’s been no shortage of cringe-worthy moments watching a sitting MP try to show his ‘human side’, which has included stripping down when required and making some, um, interesting choices to not be too precious about some bird poo on his hands.

Once they’ve arrived back at the hotel, he asks her if he looked ‘cool doing the terminator walk?’ during the Celebrity Cyclone challenge on the last day.

As she says: ‘It was special’.

In the car ride, Hancock also asks his partner if he was ‘authentically me’ in the jungle.

‘It took a few days I felt for you to relax,’ she said.

He added that: ‘When I was being grilled in the early days, I felt like people were asking me on behalf of the British public’.

‘I knew going in it would be controversial but I also know millions of people have voted for me’.

As Gina says in the episode, even she was surprised how far he went.

‘I thought Matt was leaving the jungle everyday so I am pleasantly surprised he’s made it this far.’

Throughout the past few weeks Hancock hasn’t been shy about belting out a tune in the jungle though too, taking on Queen’s I Want to Break Free (complete with an air guitar attempt) and also awkwardly trying to join in with the campmate’s rendition of Sweet Caroline, but clearly having no clue what the lyrics were.

However Hancock is back to the day job this week after wrapping up his stint on reality TV.

He’s due back in the House of Commons on Friday, which could be awkward after he was suspended from the Tory party for signing up for the series.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! The Coming Out Show airs tomorrow at 9.15pm on ITV.
