Molly-Mae Hague has shared a truly bizarre side-effect of her pregnancy, and it’s not something we could have ever guessed.

The Love Island star, 23, is expecting her first baby with boyfriend Tommy Fury, also 23.

The pair have been keeping followers updated with their journey, with home updates, her pregnancy ups and downs, an adorable gender reveal video, and now, Molly-Mae has opened up about her ‘crazy’ pregnancy cravings.

In a Q&A on Instagram, the mum-to-be admitted not really having any pregnancy cravings.

‘I really haven’t had any! Apart from sour sweets in my first trimester… I haven’t needed food cravings, I’ve eaten absolutely EVERYTHING,’ she wrote.

Molly-Mae continued: ‘However, I did realise recently that the smell of a swimming pool literally makes me drool now… sounds CRAZY but I just want to bottle that chlorine smell up and stick my nose in it all the time. That’s 100% a pregnancy thing.’

Elsewhere, she wrote about not being scared of labour, saying: ‘I’m really not trying to think about it too much to be perfectly honest! I’m going to start hypno birthing asap, I need to get a move on.’

Despite her odd chlorine craving, Molly-Mae revealed she’ll find it ‘quite hard’ when her pregnancy comes to an end.

‘I think I’ll really miss my body providing for her in this way,’ she wrote.

‘I just think it’s so insane that my body takes care of everything she needs and I think I will find it quite hard when she’s here and no longer needs any of that from me.

‘Obviously I can’t WAIT for her to arrive… I’ve just had the most incredible journey so far that I’d do it again in a heart beat, I’ll miss it all (apart from the constant weeing, I can’t wait for that to go)’.

Molly-Mae’s updates come after she shared how ’emotional’ she felt following a ‘huge fail’ scan.

The pair yesterday had gone for their first 4D scan, but it didn’t go to plan as she later told her followers.

‘I was sooo excited to see her little face but we couldn’t see it! (just to clarify she’s completely fine)!

‘We left it as long as possible as well to have this scan as they say the older the baby the better, so I had been counting down the days…

‘Wish I hadn’t been so optimistic, I didn’t realise there was a chance we would see nothing.

Molly-Mae admitted it’s been ‘sooo disheartening’ to not feel many movements (Picture: Instagram)

‘She’s perfect though, fit and healthy and measuring completely average for weight/size at this stage which is all that matters.

‘Not long till we can see that little face in person… I just know she’s gonna look so much like her dad!’

In another update, Molly-Mae shared how ‘disheartening’ it was not being able to feel many movements from her front placenta.

‘I see my friends post videos seeing/feeling their baby move and I get sooo jealous, I deffo thought it was a given that you’ll feel your baby move but that’s 100% not the case for me, I feel her now at this stage but no one else can!’

She added: ‘I think as well that’s why I got so emotional after our 4D scan fail because I do think the placenta also didn’t help with seeing her face… after it’s stopped us from feeling her too I just felt so frustrated!

‘It is what it is though, I’m so lucky to have a healthy placenta that provides everything for’.
