Here’s what’s in store from Disney+, Apple TV+, Paramount+ and Discovery+ to take us into December.
The Flatshare
Paramount+
Think you’ve covered every angle when it comes to romcoms? Well here’s a neat twist as Jessica Brown Findlay and Anthony Welsh star as strangers who, driven by economic necessity, share a flat where they never meet – she works days, he’s on nights – so their relationship blooms on Post-it notes. Sweet, and you’ll be with it to the sticky end.
Available tomorrow.
Slow Horses
AppleTV+
Episode 1. Gary Oldman in “Slow Horses,” premiering December 2, 2022 on Apple TV+.
Gary Oldman returns for a second series as spymaster Jackson Lamb (left) battle-weary head of a ragtag bag of spy recruits all kicked down the espionage career ladder after clueless cock- ups. With its sardonic script and shadowy undertow, it’s about as far way from the glitzy world of James Bond as you could imagine.
Episodes one and two available Friday.
The Patient
Disney+
Steve Carell and Domhnall Gleeson are the powerhouse pair at the dark heart of this intriguing two-hander that casts Carell as Alan, a psychiatrist chained to his bed by serial killer Gleeson, a man driven to desperate straits by his violent past. It’s a case of kill or cure.
Available today.

Written In The Stars

Ep01 – James (Aquarius) and Liat (Taurus) sitting by the sea
There was a time when Linda Goodman’s Star Signs was a go-to dating bible. Somebody clearly remembers – probably a Taurus, they never forget – because here’s a dating show where 12 singletons from a different point of the zodiac find themselves astrologically coupled up on a Greek island under the watchful eye of Clara Amfo. Mind out for the Scorpios.
Episodes one and two available now.
Walter Presents: Seaside Hotel
All 4
Lydia Vetterstrøm & Amanda in Seaside Hotel (Picture: All 4)
