Asa Butterfield teases changes ahead for Sex Education season 4 after Dan Levy joins cast-Rishma Dosani-Entertainment – Metro
Bring it on!
Sex Education star Asa Butterfield has opened up about the new series, after filming kicked off in August.
The 25-year-old recently swapped Moordale Secondary for Macclesfield in delightful new festive film, Your Christmas or Mine? – alongside Cora Kirk, Daniel Mays, Angela Griffin and Mark Heap.
Ahead of the movie’s release this week, he spilled the beans on season four of the comedy-drama, after Schitt’s Creek icon Dan Levy joined the cast.
‘I can’t tease very much, I’m afraid,’ the Otis Milburn actor told Metro.co.uk of the upcoming episodes. ‘We’ve got a new school that we’re at this year, a new location, new sets. Some new students…
‘I sadly didn’t have any scenes with Dan, much to my dismay, because I’m a big fan of his. I wish I had some juicy stories to share with you but I don’t.
‘He’s brought some real humor and energy for sure, which I’m excited to see.’

Honestly, same here.
Cora, who stars as Asa’s love interest in Your Christmas or Mine?, suggested that she would love to join in the chaos of the Netflix series in the future.
When asked if she wanted to reunite with her co-star at the all-new Cavendish Sixth Form College, she shared her excitement.
‘Sex Ed is so good,’ she continued. ‘Obviously I want to do Sex Education, are you kidding me?’

‘We’re getting her in on season five, I’m going to make it happen,’ Asa interjected, before adding that he wasn’t sure a fifth series would be coming.
‘If me and Asa were going to be reunited, maybe Your Christmas or Mine 2,’ Cora said. ‘Maybe a super serious horror film?’
We would be so down for a sequel.
Until then, we’ll have to settle for watching the pair in our new Christmas favourite, which lands on Amazon Prime Video this week.

The official synopsis reads: ‘It’s Christmas Eve-Eve. After waving goodbye in Marylebone Station, new lovers Hayley and James can’t bear to be apart for Christmas, so both decide to surprise each other and unwittingly swap trains by mistake.
‘The snow begins to fall and with it they realise they are trapped with each other’s family for the whole of Christmas.
‘Will their love survive as their secrets get unwrapped?’
While you can expect lots of snow, carols and Christmas presents, Cora lifted the lid on what makes their flick different from all the others that grace our screens during the holidays.

‘What this Christmas film has that others don’t is that it could really be set at any time of the year,’ she said. ‘Not to take away from the fact that it’s a Christmas film, but it really looks at the themes of family, love and separation.
‘After what’s been happening with the world at the moment, I think those themes are more pertinent than ever.
‘So we have a film with a Christmas backdrop, but actually, when you watch it, I think there’s going to be something that people take away that’s more than that, which is really special.’
Your Christmas or Mine? is available to stream on Prime Video from December 2.
