Sue Cleaver had a ‘secret code’ for her grandchildren during her stint on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and we can’t believe we didn’t spot it.

The Coronation Street actress, 59, was the third celebrity eliminated from the competition, and she was more than ready to get out of there.

During Thursday’s Coming Out special, which follows what the celebrities got up to once they left the jungle.

Once Sue touched down in her hotel room alongside her husband Brian Owen, she quickly made her way to the dessert cart…. rightfully so!

Brian later said how nice it was for her to do the ‘the secret sign to the grandchildren.’

Gesturing at what she did on the show, the Eileen Grimshaw star patted her chest.

The clip later showed the moments Sue would carry out the gesture as soon as hosts Ant and Dec revealed she was safe from the public vote.

Sue and Brian later laughed and said ‘secret code’ in unison.

The star-studded series – which also featured pop royalty Boy George and actual royalty Mike Tindall – came to an end on November 27, with England footballer Jill Scott being crowned Queen of the Jungle.

Matt Hancock’s controversial stint made it to the final alongside Jill and Hollyoaks Owen Warner.

In the final week of the show, 209 complaints were recorded over various transmission dates, while 80 complaints were listed after Sunday’s final episode, which saw Hancock take part in his final bushtucker trial.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here is available to stream on ITV Hub.
