Supermodel Cara Delevingne is studying all things sex for her new series and has told viewers that she believes men lack ‘the right tools’ to handle a woman.
In the first episode of her show Planet Sex, Cara explores ‘the orgasm gap’; with statistics showing that 95 per cent of straight men orgasm during intercourse, but only 65 per cent of straight women do.
‘For me the earliest ideas I ever got taught about sex were man plus woman, dick plus vagina equals orgasm,’ she said while speaking about the stark difference in people getting pleasured.
‘I don’t want to go into the art of making a woman come, but it’s just a lot more complicated and a lot more fun,’ she added.
‘I do feel that generally men are not equipped with the right tools to be able to handle women, especially sexually.’
While Cara said she understood that for men it can be a lot more ‘complicated’ to have a woman tell them they are ‘not doing it right’ and have to ‘listen’ to what the woman is telling them, they should be open to it.

‘Yeah it’s an ego killer which most men can’t handle,’ she said.
Earlier in the episode, Cara quite literally donated her orgasm for science, masturbating for 10 minutes while her blood was drawn for a study at a university in Germany.
‘I have had some weird sexual experiences, but this is definitely up there,’ she said.

As Cara admitted, taking part was one of the ‘bravest’ things she had ever done.
‘I can’t believe I did it, to be honest.’
She also attended group sex workshops, where she said she would like to be able to learn to have ‘less shame about having a vagina’.

Cara has previously spoken about how life-changing filming this series was and how it helped her tackle internalised homophobia.
The model and actress, who identifies as queer and gender fluid, worried she was ‘abnormal’ when she was questioning her own identity but is ‘so glad’ she didn’t take her own life because she’s now in a position to help and support other young people struggling with their identity.
Planet Sex is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
