A chilling new video has surfaced of Levi Davis, which he sent to his mum shortly before disappearing.

The X Factor star has been missing for five weeks and was last seen on October 29 after leaving a friend in Ibiza to travel to Barcelona.

Davis, 24, got the ferry alone, before heading to an Irish pub in the city that same night, with CCTV capturing him. No one has heard from him since.

A clip of the Birmingham-born rugby player has now been unearthed, showing him with a smile on his face hours before his disappearance.

Filming with his phone while onboard the ferry, the TV star showed off the stunning view behind him.

‘Look mum… it’s beautiful!’, he beamed, capturing himself in front of the clear blue waters.

With the video circulating online, Twitter users have sent their love to the star’s family and are praying for him to be found.

Earlier last month, it was discovered that Davis had not used his phone, nor his bank cards, since he went missing.

His mother, Julie Davis, who has been publicly pleading with her son to come home, shared her devastation after police said his phone signal was last picked up near Barcelona’s Sants mainline train station overnight on the day he went missing.

‘Every day that Levi is missing makes the pain and heartache worse, we just want to know he is safe,’ she said to Mail Online.

‘It’s every mum’s worst nightmare. People tell you to always value a hug or a kiss as you don’t if it’ll be the last, I never used to understand that, but I get it now.

‘The police have told us that he hasn’t used either of his two bank cards nor his phone for two weeks.’

Despite growing ‘more and more worried’ as time passes, the family are ‘still keeping positive’ and trusting that the police are ‘doing all they can’.

Since the end of October there have been a few possible sightings of Levi – but none have been confirmed as him.

Also, two weeks ago, Davis’ passport was discovered at Barcelona’s port area.

Spanish police confirmed the finding to the BBC, but were unable to comment further on the investigation at this stage.

The mother of the Worthing Raiders winger described the search for him as the ‘scariest time’, urging cops to hand over more detail when they have it.

‘Since the last thing we heard about the passport, there’s been no more information,’ she said.

She travelled to Barcelona with her other son, Nathan, a few weeks ago to search for David herself, and is planning to go back again soon.

Meanwhile, an online fundraiser has been launched to help with the search, with a goal of £3,000 to cover travel and accommodation costs, as well as ‘professional help’ for Davis.
