It’s official – Sir Elton John is headlining Glastonbury 2023.
On Friday, it was announced the Tiny Dancer legend, 75, will bring the UK leg of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour – his final run of shows – to an end with a huge headline slot at Worthy Farm.
Tickets for the iconic festival went on sale in November, with countless fans left frustrated as the event sold out after just an hour, even with some technical difficulties at the time.
However, all hope’s not lost, and you might still be in with a chance of seeing Sir Elton take to the stage one last time.
Reflecting on the exciting news, the Rocketman star said in a statement: ‘As the end of my Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour comes into view, there is no more fitting way to say goodbye to my British fans.
‘They have been beyond brilliant, and have supported me through all the highs and lows of my career.’
