Hilaria Baldwin has admitted she and her husband Alec Baldwin are still ‘not ok’ after the Rust shooting.

The tragedy on set of the film caused the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, when she was fatally shot on October 21 last year.

Hutchins, 42, was killed after a prop gun loaded with live ammunition was accidentally discharged in the hands of 64-year-old Alec.

Now, 38-year-old Hilaria has given an update on the aftermath for her family, tearing up as she says ‘no one could’ve imagined’ Hutchins’ death.

A preview clip of her interview with Extra was released on Friday (December 2), in which the podcaster became tearful.

The emotional yoga instructor told the outlet: ‘We can’t be ok. No one is ok. It was and is a tragedy that nobody could ever have imagined.’

Dressed in all black, she was asked how the Baldwin family is coping following the incident.

She paused before adding as her voice cracked: ‘We’re not ok.’

Alec was involved in a wrongful death lawsuit filed by Hutchins’ family, which included her husband, Matthew, before both parties settled in October this year.

In November, the actor then sued Rust crew members and the armourer for negligence and supplying a prop gun loaded with ammunition.

The lawsuit stated: ‘This tragedy happened because live bullets were delivered to the set and loaded into the gun.

‘Though by no means comparable, Baldwin must live with the immense grief, and the resulting emotional, physical, and financial toll, caused by the fact that Cross-Defendants’ negligent conduct, assurances, and supervision put a loaded weapon in his hand and led him, Hutchins, and everyone else on set to believe that his directed use of the weapon was safe.’

In July, mum-of-seven Hilaria backed her husband by posting online, pleading for less ‘darkness and negativity’.

She claimed it was ‘now more than ever’ easier to ‘slander people and cherry pick and piece together strands taken out of context, “opinions”, or complete fabrications’.

Hilaria also gave birth to her seventh child in September – daughter Ilaria Catalina Irena – later admitting there will be no more ‘Baldwinitos’ for a while.

She refused to rule out expanding their brood once more later down the line though, shrugging: ‘Time will tell’.

The couple also share Carmen, nine, Rafael, seven, Leonardo, six, Romeo, four, Eduardo, two, and Lucia, 20 months.
