It’s the news all Spice Girls fans have been hoping for and Mel B has seriously teased the iconic 90s girl band could be on the Glastonbury Festival 2023 line-up.

The Wannabe hitmakers would be in great company if they were to perform at Worthy Farm, with Elton John, 75, already confirmed as the Sunday night headliner and the likes of Taylor Swift, 32, and Harry Styles, 28, rumored to be on the bill.

The last time all the OG bandmates of the Spice Girls, Mel B, Mel C, Geri Halliwell, Victoria Beckham and Emma Bunton, last performed together was a decade ago at the London 2012 Olympics, and we’ve wanted more ever since.

Mel C, 48, has already hinted the Viva Forever chart-toppers could be playing the annual festival, organised by the Eavis family, confessing it would be ‘the dream.’

And now Mel B, 47, has added further fuel to the fire during an interview with Big Narstie, 37, and Mo Gilligan, 34, on Friday’s The Big Narstie Show on Channel 4, in which she appeared alongside Jordan Stephens.

Big Narstie, real name Tyrone Mark Lindo, couldn’t resist the chance of getting the pop icon to say on record Spice Girls were on the Glastonbury line-up, jumping in with: ‘If you do Glastonbury can I be the hype man?’

Mel replied: ‘Yeah, I would like that. That would be cool.’

Mo, desperate to get Mel to confirm a potential slot asked her: ‘So you are playing Glastonbury?’

Mel joked: Yes, I think so! But I’ve got to convince the four b*****s to do it with me!”

Mo continued: ‘So the Spice Girls are playing Glastonbury?’ before a laughing Mel said: ‘Stop it, stop it! I never said that!’

Elsewhere in her chat with Mo and Big Narstie, Mel didn’t hold back as she branded James Corden and Jessie J the ‘biggest d**kheads in showbiz.

Happy to spill the beans on the stars that really grind her gears, she said: ‘So, there’s a few’, before naming: ‘James Corden, Geri Halliwell, Jessie J and me!’

Shocked by the mention of a fellow Spice Girl, Mo replies: ‘But Geri, she’s your bandmate?’

‘I know, I love her to bits but she’s really f*cking annoying,’ Mel admitted.

Picking up on the mention of Gavin and Stacey actor James, 44, Big Narstie probed: ‘You said James Corden, what did he do?’

‘I think you always have to be nice to the people that you work with whether it be production, camera guys, sound, lighting – we all work for the same thing,’ she answered.

‘So, you should always be nice and he hasn’t been very nice.’

The Big Narstie Show continues on Friday December 9 at 11.05pm
