Keke Palmer has announced she’s expecting her first child with boyfriend Darius Jackson during her hosting slot on Saturday Night Live.
Notorious for keeping intimate details of her private life under wraps, the 29-year-old shocked everyone when she revealed her baby bump on the chat show as she confirmed online rumours she was pregnant.
Not much is known about the star’s partner and between her closed lips and his private social media accounts, it seems it is likely to stay that way for the foreseeable future.
The little information out there was found on his LinkedIn profile and confirmed he dabbled in acting alongside his work as a fitness instructor.
Fans have been offered glimpses of the couple on Keke’s Instagram and in TikTok skits in the past but the star’s beau – and soon-to-be baby daddy – is otherwise kept out of the limelight.
Here’s what is known of their relationship timeline so far…
May 2021: First meeting

The couple reportedly met at a Memorial Day party hosted by Issa Rae and Diddy.
Darius was believed to have been there as a guest of his brother Sarunas Jackson who has appeared on HBO’s Insecure along with Issa and Keke.
August 2021: Instagram official
Just a short time after meeting, it seemed Darius made things Instagram official after he penned an adorable birthday post in honour of the Nope actress.
The post read: ‘To the birthday girl…never would’ve expected summer 2021 to turn out the way it did but here we are. You’ve been a blessing from above & I thank you for showing me a lot of feelings I didn’t know I had in me.’
October 2021: Keke matches his energy
Later on that summer, the Scream Queens star confirmed their blossoming romance by uploading a sweet snap of them together on her Instagram feed.
She offered up another behind the scenes look into her relationship when she posted a video that was captioned with a message of appreciation for her other half.
It said: ‘Without being too mushy because I HATEEEE THAT, it feels really nice to not be afraid to show this kind of care for someone that I don’t share the same blood with.
‘I thought it could never happen, I can be quite guarded, but I appreciate you for being a safe space. I will always cherish what you have given me.’
March 2022: Break-up rumours
It was pretty much radio silence from the love birds following the romantic outpourings but it appeared it wasn’t so happy in paradise after fans spotted the pair had unfollowed each other on social media.
Sparking break-up rumours, the star also removed photos of Darius from her page.
Neither side commented but from Keke’s news last night it is easy to assume the couple have patched things up and are ready for the next step in their relationship.
December 2022: Keke’s pregnant
While hosting SNL, the actress shocked everyone by revealing her baby bump from underneath a long coat.
She said as she whipped back the material: ‘There’s some rumors going around, people have been in my comments saying, “Keke’s having a baby, Keke’s pregnant” and I wanna set the record straight — I am!’
