Jo O’Meara is really feeling the love after heading back into hospital.
The S Club 7 star recently shared that she’s been in her ‘worst pain yet’ despite believing she was ‘on the road to recovery’.
Jo, 43, has previously spoken about suffering from back pain and is now receiving treatment once again, leaving her ‘devastated.’
Her hospital admission comes after doctors discovered a blood clot during an operation, which has thankfully been removed and, after over a week on the ward, she’s getting better ‘slowly but surely.’
In the meantime though, Jo has famous friends on hand to brighten her spirits, with a certain special pair sending a video message to lift her mood.
Posting the video to social media, the Bring It All Back singer was amazed at the kind gesture from actors Paul Louis and Alfie Wise, who starred in the hit British kids series, Miami 7, titled S Club 7 in Miami in the States.
Paul played the role of Marvin Borlotti, while Alfie portrayed Howard Borlotti.
Wishing 2000s icon Jo well, they began in their message: ‘Hey there, Jo! Pauli and Alfie over here.’
‘And don’t worry, he’s wearing clothes,’ Paul joked, as a topless Alfie laughed.
‘It’s summer, it’s Florida!’, he defended.
‘We just saw your post, we saw that you’re in the hospital, and we’re very concerned. We hope that you’re doing better. We wish you a speedy recovery and yeah, get well quick.’

Alfie chimed in: ‘We’d love to know what the problem is but you’re obviously in great hands at Queens Hospital so, get well and get out of there. Christmas is coming!’
‘Alright, love ya, take care’, they signed off.
Expressing her gratitude for the message, Jo wrote in her Instagram caption: ‘How amazing to receive this message from the Legends “Howard and Marvin” ! This was such a lovely surprise , and put a huge smile on my face !
What is you favourite scenes from these 2 scally wags in “Miami 7” ?’.

She was then showered with well wishes from her followers, including S Club 7 bandmate Rachel Stevens.
‘Sending you so much love and get well really soon ❤️’, Rachel commented.
Others then revelled in the nostalgia from Paul and Alfie’s message, with one fan writing: ‘So wholesome, ahh to go back to 1999 just for a day! 💖’
‘My childhood has come flooding back to me with this 😩❤️ I still have the VHS!! Get well soon xx’, commented another.
In her latest health update, Jo shared a sleepy selfie from her hospital bed after eight days of treatment.
She began: ‘8 days in hospital And still here ! The surgery went well , there was a lot of work to do and they wasn’t surprised I was unable to walk with the amount of damage’.

The songwriter continued to reassure her fans: ‘They also found a blood clot in there so luckily that was removed as well ! I am recovering well , suffering very low blood pressure , but on the whole I’m getting there ! Slowly but surely’.
Jo then thanked her followers for their concern and offered a ‘huge thank you’ to the medical staff taking ‘such good care’ of her.
