Former Jeremy Kyle guest Michelle Wallace has shared her delight at having been clean from heroin for four years.

Michelle appeared on the now-axed chat show in 2018 to seek help for her addiction to the Class A drug.

She then returned to the ITV programme last year and spent 10 weeks in rehab, costing £120 a day, with the show posting on Twitter at the time it was a ‘brilliant achievement.’

And Michelle, who was formerly a sex worker, had another milestone to celebrate this week, announcing on TikTok she had been sober for four years.

The TV star shared a picture to her social media account of her clutching a white and pink cake, which had ‘4 Years Congratulations!’ emblazoned on it in brown icing.

Michelle captioned the post: ‘Celebrating my 4 years clean off out tomorrow for a meeting then a meal. (sic)’

Michelle’s followers were quick to praise her for her impressive achievement, with one writing: ‘You go girl!! Your living life how you want to & that’s a credit to you, be so proud of u as we all are xx 🥰 (sic),’ which was echoed by another who commented: ‘You don’t know me but well done what an amazing person you are. You look amazing Michelle x.’

‘Hope you are so proud of how far you’ve come 🥰,’ another remarked.

Many more added they were ‘so proud’ of Michelle after watching her on The Jeremy Kyle Show and applauded her for the ‘massive achievement’.

The Jeremy Kyle show was pulled off the air in 2019 after 14 years after Steve Dymond, 62, died by suicide after he failed a lie detector test on the show.

Since it was axed, several former guests have come forward making some bold claims against the show and Jeremy Kyle himself.

The show was also the subject of a bombshell Channel 4 documentary, which explored the treatment of its stars, that aired earlier this year.
