Spanish influencer Elena Huelva has devastated fans after revealing her cancer has advanced in an emotional video.
Huelva, 20, has documented her health battle on social media after being diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer, called Ewing sarcoma, in 2016.
Since then, the social media star has won a legion of followers through her bravery in sharing personal videos of her cancer treatment.
In a video shared on Sunday, Elena explained in Spanish according to the Mail Online: ‘They found more disease in my windpipe, which is very dangerous, as you know, because that’s where we breathe. I don’t need to say much more.
‘No matter what happens, I know that my life has not been in vain because I have fought and I have achieved what I want, to [bring awareness to the disease].’
Concluding on an optimistic note despite her ordeal, Elena said: ‘I want to make it clear that I’ve already won. With all the love and people I have by my side, I’ve already won.
‘At the end of the day, life is about living and making memories with people, and I take away many good memories with lots of wonderful people and many other things.
‘I would like to thank you for all the affection you have always given me. I love you.’
In the clip, Elena spoke from her hospital bed with various oxygen tubes visible. She captioned the post: ‘I wanted to drop this video here, because at the end of life is the memories we take, the people, the love, and I’ve already won. For love, for fight, for people, forever.’
Her followers rushed to show her support with many using the hashtag ‘f**k cancer’.
One heartbroken supporter said: ‘We love you my precious girl! Your desire won us forever! We can’t but love you, love you and love you.’
Another follower wrote: ‘I love you so much Elena, the best example of overcoming I’ve ever known.’
In a lengthy message, one added: ‘My FIGHTER, your win has won this f*****g disease why is there no other way to describe it. It’s a war brutal every second, but it’s the only war where there are no winners or losers, only heroes and heroines. And you are my hero because as my son you give a life lesson to all of us who love you.
‘These past few months I have had the immense luck to meet you, to you and the angel of your sister Emi, to be by your side, and know that I will NEVER let go of your hand. WE KEEP IT GOING. I love you so much❤️❤️❤️ F**K CANCER.’
