BBC Radio 2’s Tina Daheley suffered a hilarious naming faux pas while presenting a live bulletin on Wednesday morning.
The breakfast host was clearly lacking on precious beauty sleep as she settled in for the morning shift and introduced herself as another journalist.
At the top of the 7am news bulletin, Tina – or should we say, Lisa – confidently began queueing up the news when she forgot her own name entirely.
She was heard saying: ‘BBC News at 7 o’clock on Wednesday 7 December. Good morning, this is Lisa Costello.’
Quickly realising her mistake, Tina had a giggle and apologised to listeners for her slip while correcting herself: ‘This is Tina Daheley.’
The host then made light of the situation and referenced the iconic Will Ferrell film Anchorman when she exclaimed: ‘Having a Ron Burgundy moment there!’

Tina then continued reading out the headlines and got on with the rest of the show until the outro arrived and her co-host wasn’t quite ready to let her away with her earlier mistake.
Gary Davies, who was sitting in for Zoe Ball, reacted to the presenter’s final words as she bade listeners farewell by signing off with her own name.
He asked his fellow breakfast host: ‘Are you sure?’

She replied with an explanation of why she was momentarily confused earlier on and blamed the wrong move on a ‘computer meltdown’.
Tina highlighted: ‘In my defence, I’ve not lost the plot.
‘I was trying to fix a broken computer at the same time, which isn’t possible!’
‘I did get through it in the end, and I do know who I am… and the computer is still broken.’
The hilarious moment didn’t go unnoticed by Tina’s former colleague, Radio 1 Breakfast Show host Greg James, whose show she previously read the news for.
He took the opportunity to poke fun at the broadcast and tweeted: ‘Oh my god. @TinaDaheley, thank you so much. BEAUTIFULLY styled out too. 10/10.’
A BBC producer also wanted in on the fun and replied to Greg’s tweet by tagging Tina and assuring that her mishap could be removed later on: ‘It’s ok I can snip that out in the edit… lol. [sic]’
